Aaron Gilani Elected to Student Senate at Hampden-Sydney College

Hampden-Sydney College freshman Aaron Salim Gilani was recently elected to the Student Senate. He will serve for the 2012-2013 academic year. Student self-government, first introduced at the College in 1886, has a long and respected tradition. The Student Senate transacts all student body business and has legislative jurisdiction over various phases of student campus life.
Aaron is a graduate of Cosby High School and is the son of Salim & Meenaz Gilani of Chesterfield.
