Adam Witham Initiated into Chi Beta Phi at Hampden-Sydney College

Hampden-Sydney College, sophomore, Adam Witham was recently initiated into the honor scientific society Chi Beta Phi. Membership recognizes individual excellence and passion in any respective field of science. Chi Beta Phi became a nationally chartered organization in 1925 and has since grown to consist of more than 25 chapters.

A Venable Scholar, Adam serves as Vice President of the social fraternity Delta Kappa Epsilon and as Treasurer of the French Club. He is a UPLS junior member and a member of Garnet and Grey. Adam is also involved in the College Republicans and Students for Liberty and the Center for Entrepreneurship and Political Economy. . A mathematical economics major, Adam is a graduate of Cave Spring High School (Roanoke,VA ) and is the son of Michael & Dianne Witham.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
