Aleksander Turkovic Receives Award at Hampden-Sydney College's Final Convocation

At Final Convocation, on April 24th, Hampden-Sydney College senior, Aleksander Turkovic received the Intramural Award for achievement in intramural athletics.

Aleksander plays intramural basketball, football, and volleyball and serves as a Resident Advisor. He is a member of Garnet and Grey, Society of '91, the Minority Student Union, and the International Club. A economics and business and psychology major, Aleksander Turkovic graduated from The Miller School (Charlottesville, VA) and is the son of Dr. & Mrs. Goran Turkovic of Belgrade.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
