Anthony Rowe Receives Award at Hampden-Sydney College's Final Convocation

At Final Convocation, on April 24th, Hampden-Sydney College senior, Anthony Rowe received the Robert H. Porterfield '29 Drama Award for contributions to the community through the medium of theatre.

Anthony is a member of the Animation Society, Jongelurs, Unity Alliance, and the Minority Student Union. A theatre major, Anthony graduated from Louis County High School (Orange, VA) and is the son of Scott & Sandy Giles.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
