Ashby Neterer Receives Award at Hampden-Sydney College's Final Convocation

At Final Convocation, on April 24th, Hampden-Sydney College freshman, Ashby Neterer received the Philip H. Ropp Literary Award.

Ashby is a member of the Jongleurs. Ashby graduated from Goochland High School (Maidens, VA) and is the son of Ellen Neterer.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
