Daniel Cook Inducted into National Honor Society in Psychology

On Sunday, February 19, Daniel Elias Cook, a psychology major at Hampden-Sydney College, was inducted into Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. Daniel is a graduate of Prince Edward County High School and is the son of Randall & Kathleen Cook of Burkeville.

Psi Chi was founded in 1929 for the purpose of encouraging, stimulating, and advancing the science of psychology. Students are elected into the society based upon good character, serious involvement with the science of psychology, and academic achievement.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked in the top tier of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the needs of young men.
