Drake Bishop Presents Summer Research Honors Project

Hampden-Sydney College senior Johnathon Drake Bishop recently presented his Summer Research Honors Project in a public presentation at the College. Drake is one of a select group of students who undertake summer research in conjunction with members of the Hampden-Sydney faculty. Each project is evaluated on its originality, on the thoroughness of its research methods, and on the quality of its findings.

Drake's project was entitled, "A study of the genetics of Asabidopsis Thaliana and Saccharyces Cerevisiae." A biology major, he is a graduate of Nottoway High School and is the son of John Bishop and Cynthia & Mark Longest, all of Blackstone.
