George Van Dyke Named to Dean's List at Hampden-Sydney College

George Litz Van Dyke, a student at Hampden-Sydney College, was named to the Dean's List for the Fall semester of the 2013-2014 academic year.

George is a graduate of Monticello High School and is the son of Litz & Jackie Van Dyke of Keswick.

To earn this distinction, students must achieve at least a 3.3 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
