James Hughes Receives Certificate in Military Leadership & National Security Studies Program

Hampden-Sydney College student, James Hughes, was recently recognized at the Wilson Center Awards Banquet for the 2014-2015 academic year. Each student featured was presented with a certificate for their work in the Military Leadership and National Security Studies Track. These awards recipients must have demonstrated interest in the historical, political, cultural, ethical, and legal dimensions of national security policy and the role of the military in America.

James is the son of Karen & John Hughes and lives in Raleigh, NC.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
