Nate Sterling Receives Award at Hampden-Sydney College's Final Convocation

At Final Convocation, on April 24th, Hampden-Sydney College senior, Nate Sterling received the Bowman Award for student contribution to the Esther T. Atkinson Museum of the college.

A former writer for the student run newspaper, The Hampden-Sydney Tiger, Nate is a member of the Future Educators Club, the Animation Society, and the Jongleurs. An English major, Nate is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Dale E. Sterling and is from Mason, OH.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
