Nay Min Oo Named to Dean's List at Hampden-Sydney College

Nay Min Oo, a student at Hampden-Sydney College, was named to the Dean's List for the Spring semester of the 2011-2012 academic year.

Nay Min is a graduate of No. 6 Basic Education High School and is the son of Mr. Kyaw Zaw and Mrs. Ywin Yee of Mandalay, Myanmar, and currently makes his home in Philadelphia.

To earn this distinction, students must achieve at least a 3.3 semester grade point average out of a possible 4.0.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked in the top tier of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the needs of young men.
