Will Correll Initiated into Phi Beta Kappa

Hampden-Sydney College senior William Davis Correll was initiated into the honor society Phi Beta Kappa on Monday, April 8. Membership recognizes the highest academic achievement, moral character, responsible citizenship, and broad intellectual curiosity.

An Allan Scholar, Will serves as a Senior Fellow of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Political Economy. He is a member of the honorary society Eta Sigma Phi (classics) and the social fraternity Chi Phi. Will is a member of the Baptist Student Union, the Math & Computer Science Club, the International Club, and the Pre-Law Society. An economics and commerce major, Will is a graduate of Westminster Academy and is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Curtis J. Correll of Memphis.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked in the top tier of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
