Winfield Willis Receives Award at Hampden-Sydney College's Final Convocation

At Final Convocation, on April 24th, Hampden-Sydney College freshman, WinfieldWillis received the Rhetoric Essay Award.

Winfield is a member of the Wilson Center Freshman Leadership Program. Winfield graduated from Hargrave Military Academy (Richmond, VA) and is the son of Karen Willis.

A private college for men, Hampden-Sydney is ranked nationally in the top 100 of liberal arts colleges by U.S. News & World Report. The College is known for its liberal arts curriculum, the Honor Code which stresses individual and collective responsibility, and a focus on the education of young men.
